Chartered Accountants DFK Lonsdale approached Rockmans Creative Media in June 2010 to create a promotional website video. DFK didn’t have a brief for the video production or an idea of what they wanted but, they did know that a website video was needed to enhance their site. The only instruction given to RCM was to keep it under their budget of $5,000.
With our expertise in creative video productions, especially in promotional website videos RCM suggested creating four website videos.
“Four website video’s for under $5,000!” they said. “How is that possible”?
We sent through our concept (which you can see below) for the proposed video productions and half day shoot.

DFK Lonsdale was very happy with the website video concept and accepted the idea without hesitation. We locked in a production shoot date and came up with questions for each interview. We started designing and creating graphic animations, chose a music track, booked the crew and equipment required for the shoot.
The video production shoot day went very smoothly and ran just under the allocated four hours (half day shoot). We edited the videos over two days and as a bonus, created an extra homepage page video that consists of the four interviews.
We supplied DFK Lonsdale with DVD’s, Flash files and Window Media files and also set up a DFK Lonsdale You Tube page with the five videos, descriptions and links.
From first contact to delivery, RCM turned around the 5 videos in 10 days and all for under $5,000!
